The Potters Lane project is a 16-unit project for chronically homeless veterans setup in Orange County and is the first shipping container building project for homeless veterans in the country. The development of the Potters Lane project spanned nine months at a cost of $6.3 million. President of CRATE Sharpe explains that cargo container housing is a good fit for cities like Long Beach that can look to revitalize small vacant lots while making a positive impact on the local community.
