20FT Cargo Worthy Working Reefer

Conex Depot’s working refrigerated containers (Reefers) are fully inspected and tested prior to delivery. This process is known as a pre-trip inspection or PTI. The technician checks all working parts and operates the unit for 48 hours to ensure it cools to the correct operating temperature. A PTI report is then issued.

WARRANTY: Working Reefers are properly inspected and operated prior to leaving the depot, however as these containers are used there is no warranty on the working refrigeration parts. The warranty covers the structural integrity of the unit and guarantees it will remain wind and water tight for a period of ten years from the date of purchase. 20FT Reefer shipping containers are insulated on all sides, so the climate is much better controlled than a standard steel shipping container. Reefers offer low humidity storage, making them ideal to protect produce and cargo from heat, mold and condensation.

Reefers are only available for sale in limited US depot locations. Most commonly, they’re available in Miami, Jacksonville, Savannah and Long Beach, CA. If you would like to purchase one outside of these areas Conex Depot can arrange interstate transport.

Accepted methods of payment on working reefers are check, wire, bank deposit and ACH deposit.
